is
a beautiful mountain getaway on 220 acres adjacent to New
Mexico's Carson National Forest, 13 miles east of Taos.
This summer, Taos is featuring a Return to Sacred Places
theme so appropriate to this area. We feel that you’ll sense
the sacredness of the place as you hike, bike, birdwatch
and relax in the untouched
natural environment here at the ranch.
The rolling open meadows, forests, wildflowers, and cold
bubbling streams of the ranch provide you with a retreat-like
atmosphere to unwind and enjoy nature in its pristine state.
You can be active or just
plain laid-back, enjoying the peaceful, natural environment.
We are very proud of our two new Nature Trail loops, one
an easy 1/2 mile and the other a tougher 1 mile climb to the ridge. Both
have interpretive
trail signs full of flora, fauna and environmental facts.
We have also added horseshoe sand pits for old-fashioned summer fun. Treat
yourself to an affordable
vacation in a nourishing environment. Reconnect with unspoiled
natural surroundings and enjoy the simple life.
Red Cloud Ranch is an exclusive, magical place for families, friends, mountain bikers, hikers, artists, writers and birdwatchers. Come enjoy the native plants and wildlife in this wonderful haven in the Northern New Mexico Rocky Mountains. Enjoy your honeymoon, anniversary or family reunion. Recreational experiences are everywhere, with a pond on the ranch and nearby horseback riding, fishing and golf.
The ranch has three buildings, with two lodging units. Meals are taken in the Welcome Cabin, overlooking the pond.
